We will start our enjoyable journey by departing from Erdek Havuzlu Square at 06:30 and from Migros at 06:45 in the morning.
Upon arriving at Misi Village, we will have our breakfast at a facility located by the riverside, enjoying the fresh air and nature, and then we will explore Misi Village. Misi is located on the Orhaneli road, surrounded by four hills covered with forests, and built on sloping terrain. According to Herodotus, known as the "father of history," the Mysians, one of the six tribes that passed from Thrace to Anatolia in 1816 BC, established a union here known as the "Misylians."
We will continue our tour with Saitabat Waterfall, where we will take a short nature walk around the waterfall, and then we will head to Cumalıkızık Village.
Cumalıkızık Village is one of the first regions where the Ottoman Empire settled in Bursa. The village contains the most magnificent examples of Ottoman civil architecture, with a total of 270 Ottoman period houses. Of these houses, 180 are still in use today, while the remaining ones are under restoration and preservation. Cumalıkızık Village is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. We will be greeted by a historic feast created by cobbled streets and colorful houses. After visiting the village market, mosque, and old mansions, we will move to Apolyont (Gölyazı).
Here, we will be greeted by the Weeping Plane Tree in Gölyazı District, which is protected and dated at 725 years old as of 1998. It is one of the oldest monumental trees in Bursa. Due to the local legend about the sad love story of a Greek girl named Eleni and Mehmet, which ended with their deaths under this tree during the population exchange, the tree is referred to as the Weeping Plane Tree by the locals, and there's a large hollow in its trunk. After having a light lunch (pancakes are recommended), those who wish can take a short boat tour on the lake.
Upon arriving in Mudanya, we will complete our visit to the İsmet İnönü House and then take a short coffee break to recharge before heading to Trilye.
When we arrive here, after visiting the Historic Greek Houses, the Arched Church, and the Stone School, we will have completed our tour and will head back to Erdek.
NOTE: Due to traffic density, fog, and weather conditions, our arrival time in Erdek may be later than planned. A specific time for the return cannot be given; an average time will be provided based on the program flow.
