Bursa Tour PLACES TO VISIT; *Orhangazi Tomb *Osmangazi Tombs *Tophane Park *Muradiye Complex *Green Mosque *Emir Sultan *Kozahan Covered Bazaar *Great Mosque (Ulucami) *Üftade Tomb To experience peace and abundance in Bursa, we set off early in the morning. After having our breakfast along the route, we visit the Emir Sultan Mosque, which was built by Hundi Fatma Hatun, daughter of Yıldırım Beyazıd, for her husband Emir Sultan, with our tour guide's explanations. After our visit to Emir Sultan, we proceed to the Green Mosque, which was built in 1419 by Çelebi Sultan Mehmet and is one of the important architectural works in our country with its inverted T-shaped structure. After visiting this sacred structure, known for its ornate entrance gate, which is one of the finest examples of Turkish stone carving, we visit Tophane Square, named after the cannons used to announce Iftar and Suhoor times in Ramadan in the past. In this square, after listening to our guide's narration, we take a short break to explore the cannons used during war time, the clock tower, century-old pine trees, the memorial for the martyrs of the War of Independence, and the tea gardens. After spending some time at Tophane Square, we visit the tomb of Osman Gazi, which is said to have been requested by Osman Gazi's son Orhan Gazi, to be buried under this dome when he died, along with the Orhan Gazi Tombs. We take a lunch break and continue our tour. After lunch, we visit the Great Mosque (Ulucami), famous for its twenty domes and one of the largest inner congregational areas, assumed to be built by Ali Neccar or Hacı Ivaz. After the visit to the Great Mosque, we visit Kozahan and proceed to our vehicle to head towards Erdek. Until the next Kyzikos Travel tour, take care of yourselves... NOTE: Due to road congestion, traffic, fog, and weather conditions, our arrival time in Erdek may be later than planned. A specific return time is not given; the estimated time is provided according to the program flow. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS: It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes during the excursion to make your walks more enjoyable. And most importantly, do not forget to bring your camera, charger, and power bank!
