Cancellation and Refund Policy

CANCELLATION & REFUND TERMS When registering for our domestic and/or international trips, the total fee is collected in full via credit card or cash, and a receipt is given. b. The customer is obliged to pay the exit fees before traveling abroad. The agency cannot be held responsible for unpaid fees. c. If the customer cancels the contract; for INTERNATIONAL TOURS, if the person has taken out cancellation insurance (the cost of cancellation insurance may vary based on trip programs. Minimum is 45 euros per person), they can cancel without giving a reason up to 15 business days before the tour date; for DOMESTIC TOURS, if they have taken out cancellation insurance, they can cancel without giving a reason up to 3 days before the tour date. * If the person has not taken out cancellation insurance; in the case of withdrawal from the tour, they must provide a valid reason to the agency (force majeure, relocation, health, etc... compulsory situations). If no force majeure is presented, the provisions of the contract will apply. In cases of compulsory situations such as relocation, health, etc., cancellations made up to 45 business days before the tour departure will result in a full refund (excluding insurance, flight, and visa expenses). Cancellations made up to 30 business days prior will result in a 50% refund of the sale price to the customer. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 15 business days prior. If a visa application has already been made prior to the cancellation request, the visa fee is non-refundable. If the visa is denied, the tour fee will also not be refunded. d. If the customer leaves a started tour, claiming the service is defective, they must inform the agency representative and the hotel where they are staying in writing, stating their reasons. Otherwise, the consumer will be regarded as having abandoned the tour and considered as having utilized the service. e. Customers unable to participate in the tour due to health reasons can request a refund by applying to insurance with a hospital report documenting at least one night spent in the hospital. Outpatient treatments are excluded. f. Following the approval of a refund resulting from the cancellation of a domestic and/or international tour, the agency will refund the guest within 15-20 business days. g. It is essential for all fees to be paid when registering for domestic and/or international tours. However, if a deposit has been given and a preliminary booking has been made, in case of cancellation for any reason, the aforementioned deposit is considered a CANCELLATION COMPENSATION and will not be refunded. 1. The 'customer' purchasing services from KYZIKOS TRAVEL agrees to comply with the rules stated below. 2. The customer is obliged to communicate that they accept the service sales rules on behalf of other individuals accompanying them on the tour and must provide the necessary information such as name, surname, and ID number accurately, and is responsible for informing other participants about the preliminary information and general terms. 3. The customer must carry their identity card with them during the tours they participate in. 4. The customer accepts that all responsibility for baggage and its contents lies with them; they are obliged to monitor and control the items they bring, and KYZIKOS TRAVEL or its employees will have no legal or criminal responsibility for lost, stolen, or misplaced items. They agree not to make claims against KYZIKOS TRAVEL or its employees for these reasons. 5. The customer is obliged to adhere to the laws and practices applicable to the vehicle used for the service they purchased and agrees to comply with the rules communicated by the guide, facility, agency, tour officials, and transportation vehicle authorities regarding the purchased service, ensuring not to endanger the safety of third parties' lives and properties. Should they endanger the safety of others, they accept full responsibility for all material and moral damages that may arise, and KYZIKOS TRAVEL will not be required to perform the relevant service, resulting in the customer having no right to a refund. 6. Under Law No. 1618 on Travel Agencies, KYZIKOS TRAVEL or KYZIKOS TRAVEL employees will choose the businesses for breaks based on the customers’ interests in the regions they visit. In cases of force majeure, the majority vote of guests on the bus will be sought. 7. The customer accepts that they will personally pay for food, beverages, personal expenses, and any goods and services outside the defined services. 8. Tour fees do not include museum card fees or entrance fees to archaeological sites; the museum card is valid at museums and archaeological sites affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is not valid at locations with low transport capacities that cannot maintain the historical fabric due to excessive loads. 9. In the tours organized by KYZIKOS TRAVEL, seat numbers will be determined based on the order of reservations. Passengers who do not attend the current tour but cancel their front-row reservations will have their vacant spots filled from the back to the front. Group members who request to sit next to each other will not have their seating arrangement disrupted; only passengers in the back will be shifted forward. For odd-numbered reservations of three or more people, the single seat will be assigned by KYZIKOS TRAVEL according to the gender of the participants. These movements will be made at the discretion of KYZIKOS TRAVEL without informing guests about seat changes. 10. Guests who have made a definite reservation for tours prepared by KYZIKOS TRAVEL are obliged to keep the 'receipt' provided for the fee they paid, as those who do not have a receipt will have no claim for the tour fee they paid. 11. Guests who have made a preliminary reservation for day tours prepared by KYZIKOS TRAVEL must pay the current tour fee to KYZIKOS TRAVEL 7 days before the tour departure; guests exceeding this period reserve the right to cancel their preliminary reservation without providing a reason, which is maintained within KYZIKOS TRAVEL and its employees. 12. Guests who have registered for day and overnight tours, if they wish to cancel the tour for any reason without showing valid documents (health report, appointment letter, etc.), accept that they will not be able to receive a refund of the fee they paid. 13. In overnight and international tours prepared by KYZIKOS TRAVEL, guests participating in the tour must make the advance payment, as indicated by KYZIKOS TRAVEL employees, to finalize the tour and must complete the total payment before 30 days (1 month) prior to the tour departure date. 14. The customer may transfer the service, with written notification, to a third party fulfilling the conditions of the service up to 7 days before the service starts. The transferor and transferee are jointly responsible for the balance and all expenses arising from the transfer. Even without a signature on the sales contract, the transferee is responsible for the sales contract according to the principle of succession, and should the transferee be unable to attend the trip for reasons arising from them, they will have no right to request a refund. The processing of refund requests made in accordance with the refund conditions and the transfer of the amount you paid to your account or credit card takes an average of 3 business days. 6. Right of Withdrawal: (The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concerning the product within 7 days from the delivery of the product to them or to the person/institution specified at the address they provided.
